i don't recall the last time i added poetry on here, but i do still write a few new poems every month. even if i forget that i've written them. i just edited for about an hour. i'd like to publish some here. i'd like it even more if i could find a community on here again. it seems like every time i sense myself becoming a part of something, i get busy, or it vanishes! we'll see. c: <3

i am subscribed to such great artists on here, like holy sweet goddamn. it's so satisfying to come back to DeviantArt after a few weeks away and actually look forward to sorting through what they have to offer. :heart: they don't know, but they give me the boost to dig up my verses, shine them, and make them into something i want to share. which is what i'm going to do now! :peace:

i seen better days drippin down your face. we don't have to talk. let's dance. for all the times you felt alone, dreamin better dream better better days. -- i am slowly working toward opening myself up to songwriting. it's so tough! my ongoing problem has been that i love writing poetry, and i love singing other people's songs, but i actually hate trying to put music to my lyrics. i think i might approach it too... methodically, or something. so i'll stop doing that, just try to let things flow... see where it goes! also, happy NaNoWriMo. (i'm not participating, but good luck to you who are. :3)

the poetry folder is up to 174. i know that a few months ago, i deleted a bunch of old things i didn't like. that means these are all finished poems, or promising poem-potential! i should look into getting published. from what i know, it's costly to try and easy to fail. i wish i knew someone i could ask for guidance. (perhaps i do, and i just don't realize it.)

allo. i am studying abroad. i've been writing here and there, lately. just enough to keep me satisfied with myself. before departing, i made a two rough recordings of songs i've written, to be tinkered with when i go home... in ten months. if i make it that long! i wonder if every student who travels abroad thinks about that. 'maybe i'll die here.' how dramatic. c: i picked a good day to check my deviations. the first one was so poignant, i thought, i'm not going to want to read this next one after that. i read the next one anyway, something by a much different poet, and it was surreal. equally matched, though completely different.
